RuPay credit cards are now able to be used on Google Pay to make UPI payments. Here's how to include it into your Google Pay profile.

Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Union Bank of India are the banks that now provide RuPay credit cards through Google Pay. The business has said that it would add additional banks in the near future.

For those who are not aware, Google Pay, a UPI-based payment service like most payment applications, only supports debit card payments. Users may now simply connect their RuPay credit card and make payments to retailers around the nation thanks to this upgrade. In India, neither Google Pay nor any other UPI payment software currently supports the addition of Visa or Mastercard credit cards.

Instructions for adding a RuPay credit card to Google Pay

It's just as easy to connect a RuPay credit card to Google Pay as it is to add a bank account using a debit card.

Activate Google Pay and choose settings.
Click on Add RuPay credit card after selecting the setup payment option.
Enter information such as the pin, expiration date, and the last six numbers of the credit card. Use OTP to authenticate the same.

Now, you may choose a RuPay credit card when paying any UPI seller. You can do this by scanning the barcode, inputting the user's phone number or UPI ID, or both.
