The new CEO of Twitter is developing strategies to reintroduce advertising to the service.

According to three people familiar with the matter, the newspaper stated that Yaccarino, who assumed the role of CEO on June 5, intends to introduce full-screen, sound-on video advertising that would be displayed to users scrolling through Twitter's new short-video feed.



According to the Financial Times (FT), Linda Yaccarino, Twitter's new CEO, is working on a number of initiatives to woo back advertisers that abandoned the service while it was owned by Elon Musk, including launching a video advertisements business, seeking more celebrities, and expanding staff.
